CDAC Waters Open to All CDAC Members 13/05/2020

A Copy of a letter being sent out to all members is below as the letter will not arrive until after 13/5/2020

Re-OPENING OF ALL CDAC WATERS

 TO ALL CDAC MEMBERS

Coronavirus Update – May, 2020.

Dear Member,

Following the Prime Minister’s speech on Sunday 10th May, 2020 regarding the ‘new and conditional’ COVID-19 lockdown rules and the subsequent clarification that angling, (including travelling to and from,  irrespective of distance), is now allowed, the Committee writes to inform you that as of Wednesday 13th May, 2020 all CDAC waters are re-opened to all CDAC members.

Please be aware that under these new and conditional rules the Government guide-lines must be strictly adhered to.

Only time will tell as to whether  these new measures introduced by the Government will have the desired effect in helping us all to combat and hopefully eradicate this potentially life threatening virus and eventually get back to some form of normality.

However, should things not go as the Government plans and it decides to revert back to a more secure and stronger lockdown, the Committee then expects ALL members to be mature enough and sensible enough to heed, without question, any new rules and stipulations laid out by the Government and any new advice given by the Angling Trust and Environment Agency, thus eliminating the needless waste of the Club’s money and the Committee’s time in having to forward any further associated correspondence.

All Riparians will be informed of the re-opening of the waters and all signs displayed on the beats, informing members of the initial closure of the waters, will be removed in time for the re-opening.

Once again and to be clear:-

AS OF WEDNESDAY 13th MAY, 2020

ALL CDAC WATERS ARE Re-OPENED

TO ALL CDAC MEMBERS
